About

Hi! My name is Albin and I’m a 2nd year Ph.D. Student at the University of Miami, specializing in Spanish Sociolinguistics under the advisement of Dr. Andrew Lynch. I’m broadly interested in sociolinguistics, language acquisition, semantics, syntax, and critical discourse analysis. My research employs a mix of corpus/computational and sociolinguistic interview methods, often situated within a CDA framework.
At the university level, I have taught German and Spanish language courses at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras and the University of Miami. Beyond academia, I served as a language instructor for migration projects in Austria and the Canary Islands (Tenerife), as well as in online settings.
